Florida Cultural Tours' mission is to provide safe, reliable, fun and educational sightseeing tours to the visitors of Central Florida allowing our visitors to participate in the rich cultural history of Florida and provide opportunities to bring more of the tourism dollars into communities outside the known tourist zones of Central Florida.
Who will we service? EVERYONE!! Florida Cultural Tours (FCT) will provide guided tours for the individual traveler as well as for school, family/reunion groups and conventioneers, and others interested in learning about the culture, the flora and fauna, and the traditions that make Florida the most exciting of the melting pots states in America. We have a domestic and an international initiative that will drive tourists from all over the world. Our tour guides are multi-cultural, multi-linqual, guides who have various professional backgrounds in the tourism industry.
FLORIDA CULTURAL TOURS MANAGEMENT STAFF:
Tour Development Manager - Stephenie Black-Grant manages tour program development and tour guides;
Sales Manager, Robert Riley is responsible for the success of the sales agent program
Administrative Services Manager - Chuck Robinson, helps ensure a service quality.
The current touring program will begin with daily tours from Tuesday to Friday that feature local area museums, restaurants, stores, and locations that give a birds eyes view of just a few of the cultural elements of Central Florida. Florida Cultural Tours will be looking for a variety of cultural locations for expanding our tour offerings over the next year. There will be an "invitation only" familiarization tour that will be held on January 22, 2009 to formally introduce Florida Cultural Tours to the local tourism community. This tour will be similar to the one presented in 2009 that introduced the program to the local political community.
The Daily Tour Program will officially begin operation on February 2, 2010 with touring pickup locations off International Drive and 192. Reservations for daily tours must be made no later than 10:00 a.m. the day before the scheduled tour. Please go to www.floridaculturaltours.com for more information. Because Florida Cultural Tours is community oriented and we know the need for fund raising opportunities is paramount in the present economic environment, we have developed a program that will benefit local non-profits in their fund raising efforts.
